Granton's Revenge is the first chapter of The Doraemons Special Volume 9.
Plot[]
Doraemon, Nobita and Dorami decided to pay a visit to Dora the Kid at the Wild West Planet, with Dorami brought Kid's favorite "Mustard and Ketchup" Dorayaki that she freshly cooked along with her. Arrived at Kid's work place, the trio saw Kid playing with a puppy before he recognized them. Kid is extremely astonished with Dorami's Dorayaki and they all enjoyed the food together, with the puppy also asked him for some. Kid told the trio that the puppy name is Goro which he planned to train it into a police dog.
Their relaxing time is suddenly distrupted when one of Kid's subornate informs him that Granton had escaped from the prison once again with the help of his goons. Realized that Dorami might be in danger like the previous event, Kid brought out his "Telepathy Nuts" and told Dorami to eat some in order for them to be able to communicate through their mind with Doraemon, Nobita and Ed swallowed some in case as well.
As they're searching the town, a female voice was heard through the telepathy although it wasn't Dorami's voice. The female voice then proceeds to tell everyone of Kid's affections toward her which angers Dorami. Dorami decided to leave Kid's to his own problem and jump off Ed, with Kid actively followed her to reconcile. Unfortunately, the group headed toward the Saloon where Granton's hiding inside one of the barrels. Annoyed with Kid, Dorami pushed him away, caused his Air Gun to knock into the pillar and broke. Noticed the good timing, Granton quickly brought out his pistol but before he managed to take a shot a female voice told Kid that she senses Granton's presence which saved him.
