Secret Underground Base is the 361st chapter of the Doraemon manga series. It was adapted into episodes of the same name in both the 1979 anime series and 2005 anime series.

Plot[]

Nobita discovers a cave at the mountain and decides to turn it into his secret base, but it is soon taken over by Gian and Suneo once they're aware of his plan. Seeing Nobita's misery, Doraemon brings out "Secret Underground Base Maker", giving Nobita full control over its design. After the successful construction, the two take a tour around the base, eventually ending up at the Command Room which is equiped with Spy-Eye and monitor.

Using the Spy-Eye, Nobita and Doraemon locate the cave that now belongs to Gian and Suneo. Seeing that the two party party and mock over him, Nobita launches a Mud Missile at Doraemon recommendation, throwing a warning at Gian and Suneo before the missile arrives and explodes in their face, driving them away. Feeling that he needs to give them a bit more payback, Nobita and Doraemon use the secret passage with "Secret Passage Light" to get into the town, mock Gian and Suneo, and quickly escape back to the base, with the passage closing up behind and leaving Gian and Suneo to the mercy of a civilian whose house's wall they try to crash in order to follow them.

Believing it's his duty to watch over the town people's safety, Nobita decides to start his mission by sending the Spy-Eye to Shizuka's house, only to discover that she isn't at home (and takes bath as usual). After spying around the town shortly after, they discover that Shizuka is being harassed by a highschooler who wants her to go on a date with him and quickly send Sneezing Missile to drive him away.

As the two of them celebrate their victory, Nobita hears Tamako's scolding from above ground and sends the Spy-Eye back to the house, discovering that Tamako has in-fact found another of Nobita's 0 score test paper. Angry that Tamako always rammages through his belonging, Nobita sends out a warning to Tamako begin before he launches Tickling Missile against her, forcing her to leave the test paper and flee from the room. Nobita then heads to overground through the secret passage, intending to destroy the evidence before she comes back. Unfortunately for Nobita, Tamako has discovered the secret passage, sneaks into the base, and easily hijacks it from Doraemon.

Now fully in control of the base and its weaponry, Tamako monitors Nobita's action through the control room and orders Nobita to finish all his homeworks while threatens to launch missile at him the moment he leaves his table, with Doraemon leaving Nobita up to his own fate.
