Trivia[]
- Delb's role bears several remembrances to that of Leviathan although Leviathan was saved by the interferes from Time Patrol agents (with unknown fate). Both animals were also called "demon" despite defending themselves from humans.
- Delb's episode was loosely based on the 1982 Doraemon episode The hotel of stone age which also became the basis for Doraemon: Nobita and the Birth of Japan.
- Delb's design was later reused for the Wooly rhinoceros briefly appeared in Doraemon: Nobita and the Birth of Japan while he/she was replaced by a bison in Doraemon: Nobita and the Birth of Japan 2016 as Wooly rhinoceros didn't inhabit Japanese archipelago, and Dicerorhinus nipponicus instead inhabited the islands in the Mid-Pleistocene; bison was one of the most common megaherbivores of Japanese archipelago in the Late Pleistocene.
- Delb along with a boar and fish in Japanese islands were some of examples to illustrate that Time Patrol's interferes may result in making new victims including animals, however their deaths presumably didn't affect the history.
- Fujiko F. Fujio's choice of the location of the chapter, southern France, is presumably based on Lascaux.
