Doraemon's Mom is an unnamed minor character that appeared in But Doraemon Wants a Mom. She is a pink owl-like mechanical caretaker stored in the Substitute Mother Egg.
Story[]
After Nobita doesn't do what his mother told him to do, Doraemon takes out the Substitute Mother Egg, which would recognize the first living thing it observes as its children. Nobita tricks Doraemon and escapes right before she hatches, causing him to be registered instead. Doraemon doesn't like her caring personality at first, having never experiences the presence of a mother due to his manufacture origins. But later he sees a mother and child walking home, which makes him sad. When Doraemon comes home, he Sees his mother cooked him Dorayaki, which he then eats and praises, despite her terrible cooking skills. He was dismayed at her departure.
Personality[]
She has ideal qualities for a mother, but is also over-emotional and isn't good at cooking either. She doesn't like her "children" misbehaving.
