Synopsis[]
A long time ago, a Cro-Magnon boy was listening to the beautiful cries of swans when a shiny flying object fell into the forest and a sleeping baby emerged from it.
In the present day, in the music room of an elementary school , Nobita 's class is practicing the recorder piece " Swan Etude " for the autumn music festival . However, Nobita, who is not good at playing the recorder , is laughed at by his classmates for playing the note "No" which is not in the scale of "Do-Re-Mi".
Nobita returns home at a loss, but learns that Doraemon used a secret gadget called the " Ama-ma Diary " to get his favorite dorayaki. He then plans to use the diary to eliminate music classes at school so that he won't have to practice the recorder, and writes in the "Ama-ma Diary" that he has replaced with his own diary, " There was no music today. It was fun. "
The next day, July 17th . Nobita is happy that music class has been cancelled, but Doraemon, who has noticed that the diary has been switched, tells him that not only music classes have disappeared, but music itself has disappeared from the world . Nobita still takes a nonchalant attitude, saying "It doesn't matter," but chaos breaks out in the city and people gradually become irritated. Seeing this, Nobita cries to Doraemon and manages to save the day by tearing off the pages of the diary. Meanwhile, at the Space Science Institute, black creatures emerge from the rocks and sand brought back by the probe. The creatures begin to move while dividing.
In the evening, while practicing the recorder by the river, Nobita meets a mysterious girl. He is moved by her beautiful singing voice, but when he notices, the girl has disappeared. As Nobita looks around, small particles of light are blown by the wind and dance.
The next day, Nobita, Shizuka, Gian, and Suneo were practicing the recorder at the riverbank . The girl appeared again and started singing. Doraemon came to check on them, Nobita's toys with " Robotters " attached, and the " Mood-boosting Orchestra " joined in, and a fun concert began. Nobita and his friends were very excited after the performance, but the girl disappeared again without them noticing.
That evening, Nobita and his friends received a mysterious letter saying, "We'll be waiting for you in the music room at school tonight." They were led through the door of the music preparation room to a place called the " Fare Hall of Fame ." There they found the mysterious girl Mikka , who had appeared many times, and her robot Chapek, who looked after her . Mikka and her friends, who are from the planet Musica , suspect Nobita and his friends to be " virtuosos " who are experts in " Fare (music) ," and called them to revive the "Fare Hall of Fame," which was dormant due to a lack of energy. At first, the group is confused, but after seeing Mikka's pure-heartedness, they decide to cooperate. Using Doraemon's secret gadget, the " Red Thread of Fate ," Gian plays the tuba , Suneo plays the violin , Shizuka plays the bongo , and Nobita plays the recorder , they become partners with the instruments they chose with their " musician's license ," and the group goes outside to revive the Hall of Fame.
The group meets the musician robots Motzel and Batch at the dried-up " Harp River . " By playing musical instruments on the " Fare Ore, " they generate " Fare Energy " and succeed in making water flow in the waterway. In the revived " Otomushi Forest ," another musician robot, Takiren , is crying over the loss of his "master," and Nobita heals him with a sorrowful performance that touches his heart. There are many gravestones lined up in the forest, which are the graves of the deceased "masters," the Musika people. Takiren, the gravekeeper, reveals to the surprised group that the planet Musika was destroyed in a great disaster long ago, that the Hall of Fame was a lifeboat carrying a few Musika people and robots, and that Mikka is the only Musika person left alive in the Hall of Fame at present. Capek had kept all of this a secret so as not to hurt Mikka. Mikka, who learned the truth, still behaves bravely, and Nobita and his friends are touched by Mikka's behavior and move forward together.
In the city, the sleeping robots have woken up. The group plays Fare with the awakened robots, bringing the Hall of Fame back to life. Then Suneo and Gian find a black creature and follow it into the Fare factory. The Fare factory's conductor, the robot Workner , treats Suneo and Gian as intruders and knocks them underground. There, a large number of black creatures have appeared. On Workner's instructions, Gian and Suneo try to exterminate them by playing Fare, but Fare is ineffective against the giant creatures that have combined, and Workner is attacked as well. Nobita and his friends meet up with Gian and Suneo, who managed to escape with their lives, and decide to return to Earth for the time being.
The next day, Doraemon helped all his friends to absorb all their sleepiness by using a "Sleep absorbing gun". After the closing ceremony of his elementary school, Nobita winds up the " Hustle Winder " to go to the Hall of Fame, and hurries to finish his summer vacation homework. At night time Nobita asked Doraemon to take out a tool that could make him easier to play the recorder musical instrument. but Doraemon refused it on the grounds that there was no such tool and asked Nobita to continue practicing. Then he practices the recorder in the bathroom in the middle of the night. Doraemon falls asleep while listening to the performance. A black creature sneaks into his bed.
The next day, Doraemon, despite feeling something strange in his throat, heads to the Hall of Fame with Nobita and the others using the " Anywhere Door ". Nobita forgets his recorder, and they have to temporarily switch time and space with the " Time-Space Changer " to get it, but the group arrives at the shrine, the heart of the Hall of Fame. There they discover Capek's master and maestro (conductor) Vento . Vento had stopped functioning while writing a piece of music on a sheet of music, but he was restored by Doraemon's secret gadget and revived. He tells Nobita and the others that private performances of the Fare were forbidden in Musica, which attracted a giant space lifeform called "Noise" and was destroyed. Doraemon, who seems to be acting strangely, realizes that he has been infected by Noise spores, and tells him that the main body of Noise is approaching Earth. While Nobita's use of the "Advance Diary" had turned the Earth into a "world where music has disappeared," Noise spores that had been mixed in with material recovered by the Institute of Space and Astronautical Science's probe were secretly active and multiplying on Earth, where its weak point, Farle, does not exist. One of these spores entered Doraemon's mouth while he was sleeping, causing an abnormality.
To get rid of the noise, the Hall must be completely restored. The main switch must be played on the Musika flute, which was given to Mikka's twin sister who was sent to Earth 40,000 years ago. While wondering where the flute is now, Shizuka remembers something she learned in music class: "The oldest musical instrument in the world is a flute made from swan bone. It's in the Ueno Museum. "
He finds a "swan bone flute" at a museum in Ueno and searches for it with " Omoidekoron ", but it is not Musika's flute. As he is troubled again, Suneo notices that the song of the singer Mina sounds similar to Musika's lullaby, and Mikka visits Mina, who is in Japan on a world tour. Mina says that the flute is "a charm given to her by her grandmother", but she readily agrees as "a request from a fan" and lends it to Mikka. Mina is in fact a descendant of Mikka's sister.
Doraemon is infected by the noise spores and finally stops functioning. Nobita and his friends play music in a vacant lot to cure Doraemon, but because each person plays as they like, the harmony is broken and it doesn't go well. Finally, Gian and Suneo blame Nobita for the failure, and Shizuka scolds them, creating an uneasy atmosphere. Gian tries to stop Nobita from playing, but he shouts, "I want to cure Doraemon too!! I want to play with everyone!!" and continues to play the recorder desperately. Shizuka and the others who were watching regain their composure and play along with Nobita, and Mikka also starts singing. Eventually, the noise spores fly out of his mouth, and Doraemon returns to normal and rushes to the Hall of Fame with Nobita and the others.
The group returns to the Hall of Fame, but the flute that Mina had given to Mikka is missing a piece and one note. Then Noiz appears and attacks Mikka and Nobita. Nobita blows it desperately, but the "do" note still becomes "no", but for some reason the Hall of Fame is restored. The "last note" needed to restore the Hall of Fame is the "no" note that Nobita plays on the recorder.
In order to repel the Noise that is heading towards Earth, Nobita and his friends, along with the musicians of Fare, including Mikka and Ventor, perform "Symphony of the Earth," a piece composed by Capek based on his experience of listening to a lot of music on Earth. At first, it seems like they have weakened and driven away the Noise, but the Noise quickly returns and sends Nobita and his friends flying into space, where there is no air and it is completely silent.
However, they start to hear the sound of the toys playing. Nobita and his friends play in space again and succeed in repelling the noise. Doraemon wonders why the sound echoed in space, but then the "Space-Time Changer" falls. When Doraemon carelessly tosses out his secret gadgets and junk to fight the noise, the "Space-Time Changer" "accidentally" activates, and the place where it is replaced is the bathroom in the middle of the night last night when Nobita went to get his recorder that he forgot. Furthermore, the size of the space was also adjusted randomly, and the surrounding space including the Earth was floating in the bathroom. And these events were caused by the "Advance Diary" that Nobita wrote thinking it was his own diary when he was finishing his summer vacation homework in "Hustle Windup". The contents of the diary were " Today, we all took a bath together. It was fun ."
After that, Mikka left Earth with the Hall of Fame. As she gazed sadly into space, thinking of her friend, Capek rushed in to see her. When she and Nobita and the others played the Farle to ward off the noise, they received a signal from another ship that had escaped Musica. Mikka was happy to have friends in Musica, and expressed her gratitude not to "Nobita the Elder Brother" on Earth, but to "Big Brother Nobita."
Meanwhile, on September 13th , the end of summer vacation, an autumn music concert was being held at an elementary school. The children's performance of "Swan Etude" ended with Nobita blowing the note "no". Then, from the music room window, particles of fare energy soared into the sky. They were in a slightly unusual shape of the letter "no".
