Doraemon in France refers to the "banned" French adaptation of the Doraemon series in France. However, there are currently no reports or other evidence online suggesting a ban on the series in France.
An French version of the manga was released by Kana in France sometime in 2007. A total of forty-five compilation volumes were released, with the last being released on October 3, 2018 before France banned the Doraemon series.
After the series disappeared from France, Doraemon: Story of Seasons released in France on 2019 and translated in French, making the first Doraemon video game to be released on France.
The French dub of the both 1979 and 2005 anime series were licensed by LUK Internacional. The episodes orders were different than in Japan, so the 2005 anime series were supposed as the 4th season of the French dub. As a result, the list of episodes is therefore arranged in the French manner.
