Godart is the secondary antagonist and later an ally in Doraemon: Nobita's Chronicle of the Moon Exploration. He is a descendant of a scientist couple who created the Espal and a general of an army on Kaguya Planet.
Story[]
Godart and his ancestors were entrusted with a mythical heirloom given by the scientest couple, which will aid them when the time was right, and the legend of the mystical Espal people who will save the dying Kaguya planet, which had since slowly eroding into the world of death due to the planet's Emperor's mad conquest and desire for powerful weapon that had once destroyed the moon of their own planet.
In the present day, Godart worked as a high rank general under Diabolo, the current emperor, in locating the Espals in return for saving the people of the planet, which was now almost uninhabitable. Though the people loathed Diabolo, Godart was well beloved by them due to his kindness and courage, always aiding them whenever possible, with some of them even considered him to be a better ruler than Diabolo. Despite the fact that information about Espals had faded into myth, Godart still believed them to be the key to Kaguya Planet's salvation.
