I'll Be My Own Teacher is an episode from Doraemon (1979 animation)
Plot[]
Episode zooms into Nobita's house, and into Nobita's parents room discussing about saving money for Nobita's future education. Nobisuke Nobi says that he will smoke less, while for Tamako Nobi, she said that she will go to beauty salon less often. As for Nobita, in his desk doing his assignment, and the background changes with math problems appeares in the screen one by one (meaning that he has no idea what it means). So he ask Doraemon to go outside and play, leaving his assignment behind. As they were about to go outside, they both overheard his parents conversation. He ask his mom what they're going to buy for him, but she replied that she will hire a tutor for Nobita, and he goes on a nervous face, and declines. He tells his parents that he will going to study even harder than before, and they both went back upstairs. Nobita tells Doraemon to stay outside of his room, while he's going to study inside. As 10 minutes passed, Doraemon goes inside to check inside if Nobita goes back to his sleeping habits, and he already expected that, and he goes to tell his parents that is better to hire a tutor, instead. But Nobita drags him back. With running out of options, Nobita came up with a solution.
