Doraemon has been acting strangely lately. He's been absent-minded and goes up to the roof to greet the town's cats with dried fish. When Nobita asked him about it, he found he likes a girl. She's a cute white cat on the roof.
Doraemon can't keep his cool in front of her. Nobita advises him to learn how to love her, but it doesn't work.
In a fit of pique, Doraemon asks her out on a date, and it's a great success.
Kaneta Kimotsuki (Mentioned in the ending credits; it is unclear which segment Gian appeared in or if he appeared in both)
Trivia[]
This episode was found on Masami Jun's storage, albeit without its title card, leaving both scriptwriter and storyboard artist unknown.
Outside of the opening and ending, this is the first and only known appearance of Mii-chan in the 1973 anime. She didn't have a name and was referred to as a cute white cat.
As far as the story is concerned, it is the same as the original manga chapter. However there are two significant differences:
Nobita gives Doraemon advice by practicing with his mother instead of Shizuka, with the former getting mad at him and consequently sending him to the store.
Shizuka invites Nobita to enter her house instead of going outside with Suneo.
