Jaiko and Dorami Have Boyfriends!? is an episode from the Doraemon 2005 anime.
Plot[]
The episode begins with Doraemon anxiously staring at Nobita's desk, while he's reading comics on a chair. Doraemon begins to panic and stutter when inquired by Nobita. Dorami soon crawls out of the drawer and departs, though she refuses to disclose the location to her brother. Doraemon soon explains to Nobita her daily trips and his own suspicions regarding her motives. He decides to follow and observe.
Meanwhile, an annoyed Gian is sitting in the family grocery store and also becomes intrigued of Jaiko's travels, which remains classified to him, much to his surprise. He tails her while Doraemon takes the aerial route. Dorami lands at Suneo's place and Doraemon quickly lands to peek over the glass, finding her sitting right next to Sunekichi and becomes wrathful, though Gian soon appears behind, and is also agitated when Suneo and Jaiko interact.
Both believing their sisters off with some machinations, Doraemon and Gian report their findings to Shizuka and Nobita. Nobita is confused, though Shizuka suggests something unspeakable, such as affection, surprising the two brothers sitting up there. Nobita suddenly supplements her argument with their lack of additional purposes, appalling the others.
At dusk, Doraemon is still concerned, though Nobita attempts to console him and deny such possibilities. As Doraemon is about to agree, they find Dorami and Sunekichi speeding past in a car and catch up with her right after it leaves. She refuses to answer his question yet again, terrorizing him. Meanwhile, Gian attempts espionage on Jaiko and is enraged by her romantic script. His enraged declaration annoys her and she slams the door open, squashing Gian, though she returns after failing to observe anyone around. Gian considers his speculation true as he collapses, while Jaiko laughs.
The next day, Doraemon and Gian began pursuit on their own sisters. As Gian arrives first, Doraemon crashes into him. Though he initially denies his purpose to Gian, the former admits he was concerned about his sister and suggests Doraemon harboring the same concerns, to which he finally admits. Gian proposes an alliance between the two. Confounded as to their espionage options, they instead provide Nobita the Invisible Cape and beg him to conduct recon. He later protests as they could just see for themselves, though they are too wrathful to accept his judgement. Sneaking into Suneo's mansion, Nobita continually doubt their concerns as invalid, as whoever their sisters fall for wouldn't have mattered to them anyway. However, when seemingly romantic comments sprout from a room with familiar voices, Nobita is embarrassed and convinced of their conclusions.
Throwing Nobita to the ground, Gian accuses Nobita of libel and Doraemon agrees. Nobita instead demands them to simply observe directly. Out of solutions, they concede, though somehow Nobita is still brought along despite his oppositions. He leads them to the room, though just as Gian is about to open it himself, he relents, citing they should have supported their sisters and their happiness instead. Doraemon agrees, but as soon as they hear a perceived argument, their rage peaked. Shedding capes, Gian and Doraemon burst in before attacking for bullying their sisters, which they deny. Gian punches Suneo, Doraemon deploys Toy Soldiers and the Wrestling Killer to attack Sunekichi, while Dorami and Jaiko attempt to stop them. Amidst the commotion, Nobita picks up Jaiko's script and the sisters demand their brothers to cease. As the lights turn on, Jaiko reveals they were creating an animation out of her comic script and Dorami was helping. Everything the three heard outside were scripted lines intended to be voiced. Though Gian and Doraemon have their concerns dismissed, Dorami disagrees, Jaiko's production was drawing to a close, purposely concealed by Dorami as a surprise until the brothers grew concerned and crashed the party, destroying the Animation Machine as well, though Doraemon resolves this by restoring it with Time Cloth.
Unfortunately, Doraemon and Gian both insist on taking over as compensation, despite their terrible voices, much to the chagrin and disgust of everyone around. As they have their ears covered, Nobita crawls and derides their poor quality while the episode cuts to an end.
