Let's Go to a Hot Spring With Shizuka-chan! (しずかちゃんと温泉へ行こう!/Shizuka-chan to onsen heikō!) is episode 230a of the 2005 Doraemon anime.
Plot[]
Shizuka is sad because her father is busy with work and she is unable to go to the hot springs. When Nobita asks for help, Doraemon takes out a pair of "Hot Spring Detecting Shovels" to find the location of the hot springs. After they find a good place in the vacant lot, they dig a hole so that the hot water from the ground would come out. Gian also shows up with his friends to help dig the hole. Once they are done, Nobita invites Shizuka to the newly-made springs, but she is embarrassed and heads home. Just as Gian is about to hop in, a police officer forbids them to take a bath in the vacant lot, forcing them to cover up the spring.
Doraemon guesses Shizuka disliked the location because she wanted privacy, so he and Nobita dig a new hot spring pool on the back hills. Nobita invites Shizuka to the new spring, and she is amazed by the beautiful view. Doraemon and Nobita stand guard to make sure nobody disturbs her, but they eventually fall asleep. When two old men wishing to paint stumble upon the hot spring, Shizuka screams and runs away in fear. Nobita sees that one of the men left a bucket used for washing paintbrushes behind and gets an idea.
Nobita enters Shizuka's room with the Anywhere Door and invites her to one more hot spring, this time in his room. After they go through the Gulliver Tunnel, Shizuka is very happy because she can enjoy various miniature hot springs, with the 3D Projector creating realistic scenery. The three of them enjoy the hot water, but Nobita is unable to get out of his gelatin bath because it has solidified. Doraemon is able to get Nobita out of the cup, but he falls and accidentally causes the 3D Projector to cycle through various scenes, causing Shizuka to scream as the episode ends.
