Ma Ma Bou is a minigame from Doraemon Wii: Secret Tool King Tournament. It involves the Tranquillizer Stick, hence its name.

Gameplay[]

This minigame is a survival minigame. During the introduction, a man walks to the players. He seems angry for some reason.

As the man gets redder due to his anger, players take turns using the Tranquillizer Stick. Players must do so by placing the stick on the man's mouth to stifle his anger and pressing the appropriate button (causing their character to tell the ticked person to "calm down" in Japanese ("Ma ma!")). This will not actually calm him down entirely, but will forestall his anger explosion. However, when he bursts, the player whose turn it is gets sent flying and loses. The others are safe from the blast. The cycle repeats until only one player remains. The winner is the one who survives all three explosions.

There is an invisible counter that counts 4 (minus 1 for each time characters say "Ma ma!") every time players end their turn.

During the outro, the man is dazed from his last blast, and the winner leaves him charred.

Trivia[]

  • The man bears a strong resemblance to the Sensei. Their voices are similar as well.
  • The minigame's gimmicks are similar to Mario Party 5's Head Waiter, Mario Party 7's Balloon Busters, and Mario Party DS's Short Fuse.
