Shizukahome — Minamotos' Residence in the 2005 anime.

The Minamotos' Residence is where Shizuka and her parents live. The residence is one of the main gathering places of the gang where everyone would come to taste Shizuka's cooked food (which are cookies, most of the time) or do homework together. It's also infamous for the bathroom that Shizuka often takes a bath. The house is slightly bigger than the Nobitas' Residence and also has larger garden with beautiful flowers since Shizuka herself takes care of the garden.

In the future, Shizuka moves out of the house after she married Nobita to live with him and their son Nobisuke at the mansion. The house is later remodeled with high technology.

Differences between adaptions

In the 1973 anime, the house was completely different and smaller. Also, it was more of a Japanese-style house and it had only one floor.
In the 1979 anime, the house had a blue roof instead of a yellow roof.
