Move Fast, Doraemon! The Galactic Grandprix is an episode from the Doraemon 2005 anime. This episode is called The Galaxy Grandprix in the U.S. English version/dub. It is an original episode and the sixth birthday special for Doraemon in the 2005 anime.

Plot[]

Doraemon has been chosen to be special competitor in the Galaxy Car Race with the first prize of which is the granting of one wish for the winner. Nobita and Doraemon compete as a duo, with the former planning to wish for ears for Doraemon (who has been depressed over not having any ears) if they win. Their fiercest opponent is the dashing, handsome robot-cat racer Depon Alex, who mercilessly teases Doraemon for not having ears, but Depon may not be the one they really have to worry about.

Characters[]

Teams (as of stage 5)[]

  1. Depon Alex (retired in stage 5 after he got his car wrecked by Takeshi Gouda.)
  2. Bengal Ritchine (retired in final stage after he got his car wrecked by the falling duck car.)
  3. Sisters Chan, Rin & Pon (retired in stage 5 after they and their cars were devoured by an insect worm Bengal sicced on them.)
  4. Gian, Suneo & Shizuka (special competitors) (disqualified for attacking Depon because they wanted to get back him for cheating.)
  5. Dice Choboichi (retired in stage 5 when he and his car were devoured by an insect worm.)
  6. Nobita Nobi & Doraemon (special competitors) (overall winner)
