Candid Camera (ドッキリビデオ) is an episode of the Doraemon 1979 anime.
Plot[]
Suneo and Gian play a prank on Nobita by placing a box of cereals in the empty lot. Nobita runs after it and falls down, and Gian and Suneo reveal that they were filming a candid shot. Nobita is taken to Suneo's house and Nobita's video is shown to Shizuka while she along with Gian and Suneo laugh at him. Nobita comes back home and asks Doraemon for help, and he gives him the "Candid Video Camera". They test it on Tamako by displaying a ghost in the dressing table mirror, and it works. They use the candid banner to undo the effect of the gadget and run outside, leaving Tamako confused.
They spot Gian humming his song on the way, and start their plan - as Doraemon starts recording, glass-panes start breaking down, people start going unconscious and falling, and a large police force gathers around him accusing him of spreading poison across the city. Gian's clothes are taken away and flour is dumped on him. Nobita, having got his revenge, undoes his changes and flies away with Doraemon. They then come to Suneo's house where Suneo is playing with his radio-controlled boat in his pond. A dinosaur emerges from the pond, dragging up Suneo. The changes are undone soon.
They also play a prank on Shizuka by creating clones of her. At last, they reach the empty lot again where Yasuo and Haruo are playing volleyball. Nobita and Doraemon start their prank. The ball transforms into a pan of cream-pie cake mid-air and hits Haruo in the face. Haruo's ball turns into a cake as well, but he hits a pedestrian, who in turns hits two others. This turns into a riot as more and more people join in. As Nobita is about to declare it as a candid shot, he is shot in the face with a cake and the banner flies away from his hand, landing on a truck. Both of them follow the truck for a while as the participants start following Nobita and Doraemon. The truck they were following stops and they climb into its carrier, only to fall into a giant pan of cream-pie cake.
