Professor Mangetsu (満月牧師 Mangetsu Hakase), also known as Dr. Fullmoon in the US Manga adaptation is a famous wizard and Miyoko's father.

At first, he was introduced as a famous observer that spots something that may be the end of the world. In the magic world, he was a famous magic researcher that spotted the Demon World that moved nearer in the earth. Later, he was kidnapped by the demons to save his daughter Miyoko but is soon saved by Doraemon & the others.
