Room Guard Set (ルームガードセット) is Doraemon's gadget used to protect a room from intruders.

Functions[]

The contents of a set are as follows:

  • Radar - Identifies the person(s) that passed by this gadget
  • X-ray Detectors - Detects if the person(s) is in a possession of weapon or other dangerous objects
  • Password Identification Lock - Used for identifying the person(s)'s permission to enter the room. Multiple failures will result in punishment within the time limit. Once relayed, the password itself can be changed. Any kind of words/sentences can be used as a password, but too complex a password is generally not recommended.
  • Electric Shock Gun - Fires powerful electric beam at the person(s) that failed to relay the correct password

Once used, the gadget will lock up the room, with the doorway set with "Password Identification Lock" being the only entrance following the password's declaration. Once in the room, the user can exit through the other entrance(s) such as windows, but can only re-enter through the doorway with "Password Identification Lock". Other gadgets such as "Pass Loop" cannot be used to enter the room, as the gadget nullifies their effect.

In addition, according to Doraemon in Nobita's Fried Shrimp, the gadget runs on batteries and thus will cease to function once the batteries have expired, allowing the person(s) that doesn't know the password to safely enter the room.
