The School (学校 gakkō) is a place where Nobita and his friends study. The school has several buildings and is located in front of the mountain. Nobita (often), Gian and Suneo (sometimes), are late for the morning class. It runs from 9:00 to 15:00 and is from Monday to Friday. The only teacher shown in most episodes is Sensei.
In the Doraemons Special, Suneo told the gang about the seven mysteries of the school, adding that whoever knew the final mystery will suffer a misfortune. Nobita and Matadora later used the myth to scare off the two robbers that attempted to rob the school at night, revealing the truth behind the final mystery in the process.

The building has giant clock built on the top and has a roof area. Nobita's class is located in this building.
This school was once turned into an extreme athletic arena due to Doraemon installing Athletic School on top of the school. Doraemon, Shizuka, Suneo, and Gian trying hard to reach the top of the school to turn off the gadget.
