The Sensei (Japanese for teacher) is Nobita's unnamed teacher.
He is a strict unnamed teacher who often scolds Nobita for not doing his homework, arriving late to school, falling asleep during class, forgetting his homework or getting worse marks on his tests. He sometimes tries to encourage Nobita through kindness to study harder and not get 0 marks again and sometimes resorts punishment that make Nobita stay in the corridor or clean the classroom windows alone after school. While Sensei is impressed with Hidetoshi Dekisugi's good marks and occasionally scolds Gian. Suneo likes to fool Sensei with his lies and bragging. He often pays unexpected visits to the Nobi's in order to inform Tamako Nobi about Nobita's recent exam results, progress and his academic position. Nobita's feelings towards him are varied ranging from fear to respect and admiration depending on the situation.
Appearance[]
Sensei is a middle-aged man with a barrel-shaped body and peach skin. His hair is black is in a curtain-style cut, with the sides and back trimmed short. He wears a pair of rectangular glasses, has a fat button nose and notable cheek wrinkles.
Most of his appearances of him are teaching at school and coming back from work at school. He wears a white shirt with black necktie and brown blazers as well as slacks. His height is roughly equivalent to Gian's.
Personality[]
Sensei is a respectable, responsible and a righteous instructor. He is strict with his students, especially Nobita (often) and Gian (occasionally). When he see his students especially male on the streets he gives them advice or remind them to do their homework that he given. He often visits their students house like Nobita about their test scores and performance.

- The Sensei is the first unlockable character of Doraemon Gadget Rush.
- The Sensei is one of the adult characters that Gian is genuinely scared of.
- As hinted in the episode Parallel Planet, Sensei may be unmarried, since his parallel counterpart still teaches at school.
- The Sensei's hair style resembles Shizuka's father, Shota's Sensei, and Mr. Kawai (Yukari's father) from Obake no Q-taro.
- His real name is unknown. In the Nippon TV anime, his name is given as "Ganari" (我成).
- In the TV Asahi version, he was once named Eiichirou Senjou (先生 えいいちろう, Senjō Eiichirō), whose family name happens to mean "teacher" but is read differently.
- His real name is unknown and he is only referred to as "Sensei", but in the 1973 anime, his name is given as Fujiko Ganari (我成).
- In the English dub he is known as Mr. S.
- In the Hindi dub, Sensei is simply referred to as Sir.
- In the Italian dub he is known as the Signor Maestro.
