Dorami is sometimes considered a sixth member of the group.
In the 1979 anime series
The Gang is a collective term used to describe the five main characters of the Doraemon franchise: Doraemon, Nobita, Shizuka, Gian, and Suneo. Although not all members appeared in every TV series episodes, they are always present in all of the feature length films as the protagonists of the movie. Doraemon is the Leader while Nobita is the Co-Leader.
