The Magic Lamp without a Genie is an episode from the Doraemon 2005 anime. This episode is called The Genie-less Magic Lamp in the U.S. English version/dub.
Plot[]
Doraemon shows Nobita a magic lamp gadget with just one thing missing — the magical genie. The sucks anyone that's called out by their name into the lamp. Then that person will do anything that the user request, especially against their will. After that, they are free from the lamp. It is possible to suck more than one person since Nobita sucked himself into the lamp despite Takeshi already inside it.

- Genie Victims:
- Nobita Nobi: Nobita had to do his homework, so he was forced to do it by Doraemon. Later, Nobita trapped himself inside the lamp to get away from the mob chasing him but realized too late that Takeshi was also inside.
- Doraemon: Nobita made Doraemon clean his room. His anger burst not only when he realized what happened once he's back to his senses but when Nobita has run off with the lamp.
- Tamako Nobi: Nobita had to go to the grocery store, but did not want to, so Tamako was forced to do so. Tamako eventually comes back to her senses. She later gets angry at him for forcing her to do what she instructed him to do, but regrets her actions, claiming to have tried with Nobita.
- Takeshi Gouda: This happend twice. The first time was so Takeshi could do some yard work that Shizuka had. The second time was because Nobita didn't want Gian leaving him to handle Shizuka's violin playing alone. He was the only one not part of the angry mob due to being inside the lamp.
- Suneo Honekawa: Suneo wanted to lower Nobita's self esteem by revealing that he just bought a collection of new comics he refused to lend to Nobita, so Nobita forced Suneo to lend them to him anyway. Suneo comes back to his senses much faster and returns to get his revenge. He tracks Nobita to the Minamoto house.
- Shizuka Minamoto: This one was unintentional so Nobita made Shizuka do whatever she pleases and much to his horror, she chooses to play the violin. She later reverted as Takeshi Gouda finished doing yard work. She heared Nobita's complaint about the violin hurting his ears, causing her to get offended and think he hated how she played.
- Sensei: The Sensei got angry at Nobita upon his discovery that he was forced to do Shizuka's homework despite her protests. The Sensei later branded him as someone who only knows how to run away after Nobita sealed himself inside the lamp to make his getaway.
- As Suneo demonstrated, getting away from the lamp's suction can happen, but is difficult.
