The Sower (種まく者), dubbed as God by Nobita, is a character in Doraemon: Nobita in the Spiral City.
He is the bringer and the creator of all life in the universe. Although he technically does not have a permanent form, he has four appearances seen in the movie - as a giant golden statue, a snake, a young boy and a middle-aged man in Greek attire, with the latter two only seen by Nobita.
Story[]
Nobita launches a satellite to explore the planet. When he and his friends are looking at the photos, one of the photos shows the Golden Lake amidst the dense forest. They plan to develop their way through the forest to reach the Golden Lake. One of Onigoro's copies finds Gian's plan map and gives it to the actual Onigoro.
Overcome by greed, the group of Onigoros trek towards the lake. Upon reaching the lake they are immediately driven away by the statue form of Sower, and later chased by his snake form. When Doraemon and his group is chased by the Onigoros, Nobita falls into a deep canyon while trying to free Shizuka from the skirt trapped in the ladder.
Nobita is saved by the trees on the planet and Sower manifests himself on the form of the boy in Greek attire. He talks to Nobita's soul, saying that he had planted seeds of life on both Mars and Earth. But due to asteroids, life on Mars could not sustain. He had also planted seeds on the planet where Nobita settled the toy city, unintentionally as he had read the number wrong from the lottery ticket. But as the environment of the planet as accepted them, he passes on the responsibility of the planet to Nobita and flies away to sow seeds on a new planet.
Trivia[]
