The Water I Had Seen is an episode from the 2005 series.

Plot[]

Nobita sees a man sleeping on the pipes at the Open Lot and is driven away on telling him to sleep somewhere else. He comes home and sees Doraemon reaching for a bottle of water hung on a tree. Doraemon reveals that a popular drama had been shot on the mountain and now he could rewind and watch the shooting through a gadget called Water Video.

Nobita gets an idea and collects some tap water, viewing its journey from the cloud to a stream near a village. They spot a boy sending out a leaf boat in the river. After that, Nobita picks up a few plastic bottles and collects water from various sources to bring them back home and have a look at their history. Looking at a bottle from a nearby pond, Nobita spots the same man on a bench who was sleeping on the pipe. They start viewing the video of water from Shizuka's bathtub out of curiosity and Shizuka arrives.

Summing up the video quickly, Shizuka gives them a leaf boat she recovered from the river with a note that says "Brother Jiro, please return home. Dad is ill working in the fields all day." The trio quickly recalls that the man by the pond resembles the boy, and they give the letter to him in the Lot. Jiro, the man, says that he persuaded his father to send him to the city to get a job, but he failed to get one and is too afraid to go back to his village. Doraemon uses the anywhere door to send him back to his village, where he rendezvous with his younger brother. Shizuka chases Nobita and Doraemon through the farm asking them to reveal what they were watching when she arrived, and they refuse.
