The Woodcutter's Spring is an episode from the Doraemon (2005 anime). This episode is called The Woodcutter's Pond in the U.S. English version/dub.
Plot[]
After losing a baseball match, Gian snatches Nobita's glove from him because the one Gian has is too old and torn. Nobita runs home, and bumps into Doraemon, who is upset that Dad had ate a portion of his limited-edition dorayaki. Doraemon takes out a gadget called The Woodcutter's Spring. After explaining to Nobita how it works, Doraemon uses it to get a larger dorayaki, while Nobita uses it to get a new glove.
Doraemon and Nobita take the gadget outside to Shizuka's residence, and she replaces her old small dress with a newer and fitter dress. Gian and Suneo follow Doraemon and Nobita when they see Nobita's new glove and ask for the gadget. Doraemon agrees, as Suneo would give him 30 dorayakis for lending it.
At Suneo's residence, Suneo chooses from a box of old toys a toy robot. But when Gian confesses that the gigantic, remote-controlled robot is his, the goddess is disappointed with his dishonesty and confiscates it, to everyone's horror. As the gadget can only be used five times, and with only one time remaining, Gian decides to throw all of Suneo's toys into the spring, but Gian accidentally falls into the spring himself. To Doraemon, Nobita and Suneo's surprise, a more amiable version of Gian is provided from the honesty. The episode ends with the original Gian attempting to escape with the goddess stopping him.
