There are 1000 Gians is an episode of Doraemon (2005 series). It is an original episode.
Plot[]
Gian announces that he will be holding a two-hour birthday concert to the class after school, and shows them a list of things he wants his classmates to give him as presents. Not wanting to go for the concert, the class gets Nobita to stop the concert from happening. Nobita returns home and pleads Doraemon, who is doing a gadget maintenance, though Gian visits them to ask Doraemon to help him set the stage. Doraemon prevents Gian from touching the Strange Encounter Machine and puts it on the table, but when Nobita places his bag on the table, Gian suddenly gets abducted by a UFO.
Doraemon plans to use the Later Candy to delay Gian’s singing by 10 minutes per candy and demonstrates it to Nobita using one candy. When Mom enters their room ten minutes later, Doraemon reveals that Nobita got a zero for his test again and the latter gets beaten up by her. But while outside, they are shocked to discover many Gians approaching them one after another and with the entire container consumed by the first one of them, they run away. When Doraemon and Nobita find another Gian confronting Suneo at a street, they decide to follow him from behind.
Doraemon and Nobita from above find five Gians all going towards the UFO, which had set up base in the mountain. They go inside to learn hundreds of Gian's clones are lined up there, with more Gians being produced using a machine to create duplicates. Nobita tries to lure the real Gian out by yelling at him, but they all appear to be genuine. Doraemon and Nobita go into hiding and end up in the dump where they find three aliens who were trapped inside there. They learn that the aliens were summoned to Earth after Nobita's bag caused the Strange Encounter Machine to be activated.
Doraemon and Nobita also learn about Gian’s plans to hold a mega concert of 1000 of his clones after the aliens used their duplicating device to make a clone out of him earlier. Fearing the Earth would explode if the concert were to happen, they try to prevent Gian and his duplicates from going out. They use an outdoor version of the Athletic House to convert the mountain into an athletic course and slow down the Gians on their tracks. When the Gians are about to reach the base of the mountain without much difficulty, Doraemon uses the Banana Leaf Fan to blow them back to the spaceship, but ends up blowing Nobita away as well.
The Gians won't give up in holding the concert and depart for the open lot using the spaceship. Doraemon gets Nobita and the aliens to go to the open lot and get the others to take refuge, while he goes to find a way to deal with Gian. But when Nobita and the aliens arrive at the open lot, the spaceship had arrived and the Gians begin to start their mega concert but Gian's mother, who has come with many clones of herself, stops them and they chase them back to the spaceship.
Gian's mother finishes dealing with Gian and reverts back to her Imitation Dummy form. Doraemon shows up and explains that he used the Obtaining Bag to obtain the duplicating machine and the Imitation Dummy to transform into Gian's mother and together, they create duplicates of her to deal with Gian and his clones. With the aliens finally able to return to their own planet, everyone bids them farewell, while Gian gets kicked out of the spaceship. They decide to call it a day, but Doraemon, Nobita, Shizuka and Suneo feel a sense of regret in Gian and allow him to sing one song, who happily accepts.
