Tsubasa Ito (伊藤翼 Ito Tsubasa) is a recurring character in the Doraemon series. She is a popstar and TV actress who is very popular with fans of all ages. Suneo often gets her autograph and shows it off to his friends. Doraemon is apparently a huge fan of her since it is shown in one episode that he has pictures of her all over his closet.
Appearance[]
Tsubasa's appearance has changed a bit over the years. In the 1979 anime, she has dark brown hair and extremely dark black eyes. In the 2005 anime, her hair is changed to black and her eyes are a good deal lighter, though a bit bigger. and wears hairband
Career[]
Tsubasa is an extremely famous singer and actress for whom many people go wild for. She often performs in concerts in or outside Japan (many of which Suneo has been to). She sometimes appears in movies that are filming in Tokyo, and Nobita and the gang often hang around to watch. It is hinted in the 1979 series that she might be fed up with her job, as she was annoyed that she had so much work to do she couldn't celebrate her own birthday party.
According to 2005 anime series, Tsubasa landed a role in a drama during her highschool years which made her very famous, and has since recieved multiple roles due to her acting and singing talent and has became very famous as result.

- Tsubasa's surname Ito means "that one" (伊) (i) and "wisteria" (藤) (to).
Trivia[]
- In the English dub, Tsubasa's name is changed to Sera Ivy.
- In the Bengali dub, she is referred to as Miss Julie.
- For unknown reasons, her age was changed from 14 or 15 to 17 or 18 in one 1979 anime episode, but she appeared as a 14-15 year old girl for the rest of the series.
