1979[]

The Transformation Biscuits[]

Nobita cries because he thinks he might remain a cat forever due to eating the Transformation Biscuit, however he calms down when he turns back into a human.

N・S Patch[]

Nobita, crying, complains to Doraemon about Gian because he is going to beat him up very badly and asks him to help.

Big Air Battle[]

Gian admires the heights and the sunset from the TV tower, but drops the toy helicopter and cries from fear of heights.

Top Secret Spy Strategy[]

Nobita sob when he complains to Doraemon about Suneo manipulating him with the word "vase" after he broke one at school.

Oh, Lovely Mii-chan![]

A boy cries after Doraemon takes away his Mii-chan toy, introducing it as his lover.
The boy's father hits Doraemon on the head and scolds him for stealing. As soon as he gives the cat toy to the boy, Doraemon throws a tantrum and tearfully begs him to keep it because he wants to make her his bride.
The boy cries again because the dog stole his toy.
As soon as Mii-chan's toy says that she is a boy, Doraemon is horrified. As she runs away, he cries hysterically over his lost love, and Nobita consoles him.

Toy Troop[]

Tamako crying in fear while clinging to the rooftop antenna after being attacked by a toy troop due to her getting angry at Nobita.

Memories of Grandma: Part 1[]

In several flashbacks, baby Nobita cry when Gian and Suneo tease him, when he wets the bed, when Tamako scolds him for breaking the window, and when he runs away from the dog.
Nobita sobs because he wants to see his grandmother again.

Memories of Grandma: Part 2[]

Nobita and Doraemon notice that Baby Nobita is running away crying because Gian and Suneo took his lollipop.
Baby Suneo and Baby Gian are crying after Nobita hits them on the head for supposedly kicking him at school.
Baby Nobita throws a tantrum because his grandmother didn't bring fireworks and sends her away. And when Nobita yells at him for being rude to his grandmother, he cries.
When Nobita returns to the present to ask Shizuka to marry him because his grandmother wants her to and Shizuka refuses, Nobita begins to beg her with tears in his eyes.

Nobita in the Mirror[]

Nobita tries to return Mirror Nobita back to the mirror, but he resists and he throws Nobita there instead of himself and turns off the mirror. Nobita is scared that he is trapped and cries in fear.

The Voice Thickener[]

Nobita runs home crying because Gian hurt him again.
Nobita cries because his Voice Thickener was spilled on the pavement.

Opposite Side Kleenex[]

Nobita cries and lashes out at Doraemon because no one believes him and that Suneo has bad character traits.

Dried Fish[]

Nobita throws a tantrum because he wants to have his own dacha, despite Doraemon's words about moving in with another person.

Love Love Parasol[]

Nobita cries because, according to Doraemon, he won't be able to compete with his new classmate for Shizuka's attention.

The Dictator Switch/1979 Anime/The Dictator Switch[]

After Gian hits Nobita with a bat for playing baseball poorly, he cries in front of Doraemon out of hurt and pain.
Nobita also cries because he doesn't want to be alone forever.

When Will You Take Boygirl?[]

When Nobita accidentally bumps into Nobisuke, his rubber band flowerpot falls apart and he whines, causing Nobisuke to shame him.
After Suneo falls, he sheds a tear, but when Gian yells at him to take a free throw, he cries even harder. After his friends shame Gian for being inappropriate, he breaks down and cries loudly along with Suneo.
After one of Shizuka's friends hits a ball into Nobita's face, he tiny sobs in pain, causing the girls to shame him for being so whiny.

Let's Live to Laugh[]

Shizuka tiny cry because her canary Peeko died.
Nobita sheds a tear after Gian beats him up for laughing for no reason, and, losing his temper, throws the laughing earphone onto the floor.

The Soul Machine[]

Nobita crying out in tears of pain when he trips over a rock and injures his knee. However, his face is depicted as screaming in joy, which can sometimes confuse viewers a little.
In one of the pictures where little Nobita is playing with his parents, he cries when he accidentally drops a vase, and Tamako consoles him.

Even in the Stomach, in the Acid[]

Shizuka is crying because she feels bad after accidentally swallowing the gemstone from her mother's ring.
Shizuka is also crying in horror because she doesn't want Doraemon and Nobita's submarine to come out of her intestines and into the toilet when they get out.

1980[]

Mad Watch[]

Nobita cries because while Tamako is scolding him, Shizuka is supposed to come to him.

Shizuka-chan's Angel Raiment[]

When Nobita and Shizuka are rehearsing for the school play, Shizuka fakes crying when Nobita won't give her handkerchief back.
After the forester refuses to give Shizuka her flying scarf, she cries for real and asks for it to be returned to her.

1981[]

I Hate Doraemon!?[]

When Sewashi tells Nobita that Doraemon will return to the future, Nobita and Doraemon break down and start crying, hugging each other because they don't want to part with each other.

Nobita's the Night Before a Wedding[]

Nobita cries when he sees Shizuka and Dekisugi flirting together, even though they were just rehearsing the school play "Snow White".
Future Gian, while intoxicated, cries for an unknown reason.
Nobita and Doraemon cry after Shizuka's father tells to her about the wedding. After returning from the future, Nobita tearfully swears to Shizuka that he will try to make her the happiest girl.

1982[]

Long Time No See Trunk[]

Nobita cries because Shizuka doesn't know him, and Doraemon explains to him that he put the chest back 20 years ago. It is also noticeable that when Nobita's tears are flying in long sprays, Doraemon used an umbrella to prevent Nobita's tears from falling on him.

1984[]

Drunken Lid/1979 Anime[]

After Suneo scolds Gian for stealing things from children, Gian cannot bear the accusations against him and, covering his face with his sweater, cries bitterly.

1986[]

The Substitution Rope Story[]

After Nobita in Shizuka's body also experiences problems, he cries because he doesn't like it.

1987[]

A Black Hole in Nobita's Town[]

In Nobita's flashback, Tamako shows negative emotions in various ways for his failed tests, including crying. Nobita then writes on a piece of paper with tears in his eyes, over and over, that he will not get 0 points anymore.
Shizuka cries because her violin is lost forever due to Nobita not finding the white-hole pen in the pockets of his shorts.
After unsuccessfully searching for the white-hole pen on the street, Nobita cries because he thinks that it is also lost forever. However, that pen was picked up by Sensei.

1988[]

Image Beret[]

Nobita complains and cries about not being able to draw Shizuka's portrait.
While walking down the street, Nobita hears Gian crying and his mother's scolding as she beats him as punishment for accidentally creating copies of her in the form of an ogre, a pig, and a gorilla.
At the end of the episode, while looking at the evil Suneo, Doraemon, and Shizuka watching over Nobita to punish him for his troubles, Nobita himself is horrified by this and cries.

Nobita tiny cries because Gian and Suneo hurt him again.

1989[]

The Self Alarm[]

Nobita cries because he is afraid of sleeping through his meeting with Shizuka.
When Nobita gives Tamako the Self Alarm and wraps her in a temporary cloth, she alternates between crying and laughing because of it.

Country Maker[]

When Suneo exchanges his toys for banknotes with Nobita's picture on them, he cries that he is left with nothing.

1990[]

Head Down to the Path of Evil[]

After Gian throws Nobita into a fountain after beating him, he cries because he can't do good deeds.
After repeated failures in good deeds, Nobita meets Doraemon. He tries to hide his sadness in front of him, but he can't stand it and rushes to him crying, hugging him.
When Nobita saves Gian from a falling iron pole with a kick, although he wanted to take revenge on him for today, he cries with joy and hugs Nobita for being alive.

Doraemon is Really Sick?[]

Doraemon cries because he thinks Nobita disappeared into his 4D pocket forever when he tried to save him.

The Resentful Ghost Headband[]

Nobita cries because he feels bad about Gian beating him up on the street, hitting him 23 times.
When Gian's mother spanks her son on the butt for throwing his dinner plate at her (even though he was going to throw it at Nobita's ghost), he can be seen shedding tears of pain.
Nobita cries in fear when his own ghost disturbs his sleep and scares him.

Lost Item Return Spray[]

Nobita cries not only because of the lost books, but also when Tamako sends him upstairs.
Nobita cries loudly after Doraemon distances himself from him, pretending not to want to help him. But Doraemon himself consoles him before all of Nobita's books are returned, and he is happy about it.
Tamako tiny tears when her wallets are missing.
When Suneo's mother scolds him for the pile of trash by the window, Suneo himself feels offended and cries, trying to justify himself.

What are You Two Doing Alone?[]

Nobita cries because he thinks Shizuka forgot his birthday.
Nobita tiny sobs when he explains to Doraemon that he couldn't have his son Nobisuke and great-great-grandson Sewashi if Shizuka marries Dekisugi.
Nobita becomes hysterical when he sees Shizuka and Dekisugi cooking together in the kitchen.
Nobita continues to cry hysterically because he thinks his birthday is completely ruined and thinks that Shizuka and Dekisugi can be together.
Nobita cries with joy when he tastes the small cake Shizuka and Dekisugi made.
- Importantly, Nobita remains in a crying state after seeing Shizuka and Dekisugi together in the kitchen and until the end of the episode, but with joy.

Real Book[]

Suneo cries after Gian stole his toy helicopter with remote control to an unknown destination and was also rude to him.

Operation: Going Back Home Safely[]

Nobita cries because he is tired of staying after school.
He cries again when he is chased by Gian, Suneo, and his other friends for being scolded by Kaminari for breaking the window.
Nobita cries for the third time when he gets scared. His cries are heard by Doraemon when he uses the navigation gadget to try to get him home without problems.

Let's go to Japan 70,000 years ago[]

When lava from a volcano floods the area in prehistoric Japan and Doraemon, Nobita, Suneo and Gian escape the disaster on a hill, Suneo cries because he fears for his life.

2002[]

I Have a Rival![]

When Nobita is about to enter his room, a huge amount of water spills out, which are Doraemon's tears, which he cried because his friend Mii-chan made friends with another cat and ignored him.
Nobita cries in fear when he sees Tamako angry about failing a test.

All the Way From the Country of the Future[]

Nobita cries in horror when he sees photos from the future where he is supposed to marry Jaiko.
Jaiko cries because Nobita yells at her that he will never marry her.
Nobita cries when he regrets that he brought a lot of trouble to his descendants due to his stupidity, clumsiness, and laziness.

2004[]

The Two Shizuka-chan[]

When Gian warns Nobita that he will be in trouble if he does not come to Suneo to duel in a console game, Nobita cries in fear and runs to Doraemon for help.

Unlike the original versions of the episodes released in the 1979 anime, in the remakes of these episodes, Nobita may not cry.
Nobita is the character who cried the most in the Doraemon franchise.
